Reporting to the President & Vice President, the selected candidate will be instrumental in managing and implementing strategic objectives, fostering a culture of alignment, collaboration and accountability throughout the organization. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy
Promote corporate values and shape leadership messaging to foster an optimal culture
Collaborate with and provide guidance to senior and front-line leaders
Introduce best practices throughout the full-cycle recruitment and placement process
Take accountability for training, professional development and succession planning Initiatives
Promote employee relations while developing and introducing employee engagement and retention strategies
Evaluate and administer compensation and group benefit programs
Develop and administer a robust performance management system
Provide leadership to all legislated compliance initiatives
Keys for Success
Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills to assist in making timely and informed decisions
Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage internal relationships
Effective facilitation and presentation skills.
Solid understanding of Employment Standards and other relevant labour legislation.
Proven ability to develop lasting and productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
Hold or pursuing a CHRP
Post-Secondary Education and related industry work experience.
