Reporting to the President & Vice President, the selected candidate will be instrumental in managing and implementing strategic objectives, fostering a culture of alignment, collaboration and accountability throughout the organization. • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy
• Promote corporate values and shape leadership messaging to foster an optimal culture
• Collaborate with and provide guidance to senior and front-line leaders
• Introduce best practices throughout the full-cycle recruitment and placement process
• Take accountability for training, professional development and succession planning Initiatives
• Promote employee relations while developing and introducing employee engagement and retention strategies
• Evaluate and administer compensation and group benefit programs
• Develop and administer a robust performance management system
• Provide leadership to all legislated compliance initiatives

Keys for Success

• Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills to assist in making timely and informed decisions
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage internal relationships
• Effective facilitation and presentation skills.
• Solid understanding of Employment Standards and other relevant labour legislation.
• Proven ability to develop lasting and productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Hold or pursuing a CHRP
• Post-Secondary Education and related industry work experience.
