About this role/The opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving our organization\'s human resources initiatives. As an HR Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with the VP HR and the leadership team as well as various departments to align HR strategies with business goals, foster a positive work culture, and enhance employee engagement.

How You\'ll Make an Impact/duties and responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Planning: Work closely with senior management to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that support organizational growth and development.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, employee performance, and career development.
  • Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to identify staffing needs, participate in the recruitment process, and assist in the selection of top-tier candidates.
  • Performance Management: Partner with managers to establish and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, design development programs, and facilitate workshops to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Change Management: Lead change initiatives by providing guidance to management on change strategies, communication plans, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives that promote a positive work environment, strong team dynamics, and high employee morale.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as legal requirements, while providing guidance to managers and employees.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with the VP HR to provide recommendations on competitive salary structures and benefits packages.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize HR metrics to assess trends, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to enhance HR strategies.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Drive diversity and inclusion efforts by advocating for a diverse workforce and implementing initiatives that promote an inclusive workplace culture.
  • HR Projects: Lead or contribute to HR projects, such as employee engagement surveys, policy updates, and process improvements.
What do you need to perform in this job / What you\'ll bring to the table
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master\'s degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, preferably in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent French and English is mandatory.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and HR analytics.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a passion for driving positive change within the organization.
