Position: Supporting key HR processes like recruitment, HRIS management, and policy implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Aid full-cycle recruitment: post jobs, interview, and assist in selection.
• Stay up to date on HR trends and present new ideas and suggestions to senior leadership.
• Onboard new staff and update processes when needed.
• Develop, update, and evaluate Job Info Questionnaires and descriptions.
• Recommend policy updates based on best practices and laws.
• Maintain accurate employee records.
• Stay current on HR legislation.
• Assist with HRIS management and data entry.
• Prepare reports on personnel data.
• Conduct exit interviews, offer analysis, and suggestions.
• Respond to HR inquiries, escalating complex issues.
• Administer engagement surveys.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years in a Senior HR Generalist role or related.
• HR Management degree/diploma.
• CPHR designation (or working towards designation) is an asset.
• Health/insurance/benefits experience is an asset.
• Job design and organizational development knowledge are a bonus.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Effective interpersonal and customer service.
• Prioritize and organize workflow for diverse clients.
• Familiarity with labor laws in Alberta and Canada.
• Discreet with confidential information.
• Team player, goal-oriented, minimal supervision desired.
