The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will be a strategic partner to assigned clients within the Canadian commercial, corporate functions, and warehouse teams to maximize achievement of business strategy through our people. The HRBP will have a strong generalist background and provide operational partnership to our COE\xe2\x80\x99s and manage/or coordinate day to day aspects of the HR function such as recruitment (in partnership with RPO), new hire on-boarding, off-boarding, talent management programs, employee relations, performance management as well as Company employee reward and recognition programs and processes.

You will also lead a variety of projects and you will have a penchant for systems and platforms (preferably Workday & Kronos or eTime platforms).

This role is a 14-to-16-month contract based in our Canadian Headquarters in Mississauga Ontario.

Key Areas of Focus will include:

  • Partner with assigned client group to maximize achievement of business strategy through our people, by fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion through key business programs such as talent management and development, Training Facilitation, organization design, and talent acquisition (through RPO)
  • Act as operational partner for HR department and to COE\xe2\x80\x99s, Shared Services and external vendors/providers as needed.
  • Facilitate core business processes such as talent review, performance and growth, development planning etc.
  • Provide effective employee relations counsel to associates and people leaders (i.e., coaching, problem resolution, team building, and off-boarding as needed).
  • Support / lead Employer Branding Campaign initiatives.
  • Manage and lead Company on boarding program.

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma \xe2\x80\x93 in business, psychology, or related field of study and CHRP / CHRL designation (or in progress).
  • 5-7 Years progressive, proven experience as a generalist in a matrix organization with solid understanding of all areas of Human Resources
  • Prior experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or commercially based organization would be an asset.
  • Affinity for recruitment and talent acquisition including behavioural Interviewing skills.
  • Well versed on Employment Standards and general employment law matters.
  • Comfortable with various e-platforms.
  • Some travel (approximately 10%) within North America may be required.
