River Valley Specialty Farms is seeking a full-time, experienced HR, Admin & Seasonal Agriculture Worker Program Coordinator to oversee and support all operational aspects, while managing and assisting with human resources administration.
This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with a minimum requirement of one in-office day per week to maintain collaboration and support business functions.
This role is responsible for overseeing human resources for functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and managing relations within the Seasonal Agriculture Worker Program, while ensuring compliance with employment regulations. The coordinator will also perform key administrative duties such as record-keeping, scheduling, and workforce documentation, to support seamless business operations. Success in this requires exceptional organization, discretion, and attention to detail, along with strong communication skills to foster effective collaboration between employees and management. HR, Admin & SAWP Coordinator Responsibilities:
HR Support: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and relations within the Seasonal Agriculture Worker Program.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records, manage scheduling, and provide operational support.
Workforce Management: Assist with training, policy enforcement, and documentation to ensure compliance.
Collaboration: Partner with farm leadership to address employee needs and foster a productive work environment.
HR, Admin & SAWP Coordinator Requirements:
Education: High school diploma/GED required; a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in HR or administrative roles (preferred)
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with legal regulations relevant to HR and business operations.
Communication & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and negotiate professionally.
Organizational & Management Abilities: Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
Language Skills: Spanish proficiency is an asset.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills to navigate complex challenges.
