Job Summary
The role of Room Attendant is to ensure the guest rooms are neat and clean for new arrivals and occupied rooms.
Duties & Responsibilities
Arrive at work on time with a clean uniform and well groomed.
Check all vacant rooms to see if OK.
Make beds, dust, vacuum, clean bathroom.
Replenish guest room supplies.
Make sure everything in room is working and if not write up the appropriate maintenance request.
Assist guests with requests and answer any questions they may have.
Always greet guests in a polite manner.
Treat Supervisor/Manager with respect daily when working.
Keep 2-way radios with you at all times. Keep voice level down on the floors.
Do not touch or remove guest belongings.
Set heat to season comfort. Close curtains if applicable. (As advised by the Manager/Supervisor daily)
Trained to identify any type of insect.
Informs supervisor of any safety issues.
Clean rooms as requested by front desk.
Make sure all common areas are clean.
Check all rooms at end of shift and make sure all doors to the rooms are closed.
Stock supply cart for next shift.
Turn in lost & found immediately.
Remove food trays from rooms, dispose of all food and garbage.
Report to manager any suspicious behavior on the floor.
Report to manager anything missing from rooms.
