Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to our father who's in need of assistance. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence within the home environment.
Duties
Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Support meal preparation. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Assist with mobility and transfers. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Engage clients in activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction, particularly for those with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
Requirements
Proven skills in patient care and caregiving for seniors or individuals with disabilities. Familiarity with dementia care practices and techniques is a plus. Ability to perform cleaning tasks as part of maintaining a safe home environment. A compassionate demeanor and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.85-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
