The Opportunity



We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead Hydra Estiatorio. This is a unique opportunity to oversee our flagship restaurant, driving operational excellence and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. As GM, you will play a critical role in maintaining Hydra's reputation as a top dining destination and contributing to the continued growth of Executive Table Group.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development:

Inspire, mentor, and manage a high-performing team to uphold Hydra's service and brand standards.

Strategic Collaboration:

Work closely with the Executive and Operations Team to innovate and implement new menus, promotions, special events, and service strategies.

Operational Oversight:

Ensure the seamless daily operation of Hydra, adhering to Five Star standards and maintaining brand consistency.

Guest Experience:

Lead efforts to deliver unforgettable guest experiences, ensuring loyalty and positive reviews.

Financial Management:

Oversee labor, productivity, and budget targets, ensuring efficient operations and revenue growth.

Brand Positioning:

Strengthen Hydra's reputation as one of the top dining destinations in Vancouver and beyond.



Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum of 4 years in senior food & beverage management in a luxury restaurant or hotel environment.

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of food, wine, and spirits; Sommelier designation is an asset.

Financial Expertise:

Skilled in financial reporting, budget management, and revenue analysis.

Leadership:

Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire a team with a focus on service excellence.

Communication:

Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with a talent for fostering relationships with guests, team members, and stakeholders.
