Scholars of Milton

is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic

part-time Math/Physics / Chemistry/Biology Tutor

to join the team. As a tutor / teacher at Scholars of Milton, you need to positively impact students, both personally and academically. We take pride in delivering positive results that matter to all of our students, and our teachers play a significant role in this journey. The successful candidate will be trained on Scholars' teaching methodology.

Candidates must be confident teaching High school Students - Math / Physics / Chemistry/ Biology from Grade 9 to Grade 12.

Responsibilities:

Tutoring maximum 3 High School students (Math / Physics / Chemistry/Biology) at a table for an hour. Communicate effectively with students, and staff members. Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation. Monitor / Track student progress and provide feedback. Utilize various teaching methods and resources to enhance student learning experiences.

Must Have:

Candidates who have

graduated from or are currently studying at a Canadian university

in Science or Engineering

disciplines with a focus on Math, Physics, Chemistry Previous teaching experience is a plus

Schedule:

Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two days per week within our hours of operation

Monday to Thursday: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Saturday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Pay: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
