K12 Building Blocks Learning Center offers a wide range of academic programs and summer camps for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, including English, Math, French, Science, and Computer Programming.
We are currently seeking a
High School English Tutor
to join our team. Remote work is available for qualified candidates.Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in English Literature (required) Minimum 5 years of experience teaching high school academic English (Grades 9-12) Familiarity with the Ontario English Curriculum Experience teaching AP English, SSAT, SAT, or ACT is considered an asset Strong communication skills and ability to engage students effectively Skilled at preparing course materials and structured lesson outlines Ability to capture and maintain students' attention in both in-person and online settings teaching experience is required Well-organized, punctual, and reliable
