We're currently looking for a Helpdesk Analyst to join our growing IT department and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations for both internal teams and field technicians.

Position Overview

The Helpdesk Analyst serves as the first point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and incidents within Field Tech Solutions. This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. You'll provide both remote and on-site support to resolve issues related to hardware, software, networking, and business applications -- ensuring seamless service delivery across our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage incoming IT support tickets and respond promptly via email, phone, or ticketing system.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently and effectively.

Handle employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access management, and device configuration.

Deploy, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, telephony systems, and other devices.

Support updates, patches, and upgrades for Field Tech Solutions' applications and systems.

Participate in cybersecurity efforts such as incident investigation, mitigation, and employee awareness training.

Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, solutions, and configurations.

Collaborate with IT team members to enhance system performance and service quality.

Conduct one-on-one or remote user training sessions as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Strong understanding of Windows desktop and server environments, including patch and license management.

Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (mailboxes, Teams, license allocation).

Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions such as Intune or Apple Business Manager.

Hands-on experience with IT service management (ITSM) or ticketing systems.

Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Excellent communication skills -- both written and verbal; bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management abilities.

Experience using remote administration and support tools.

Knowledge of cybersecurity tools or best practices is a plus.

Previous experience in the telecommunications, construction, or manufacturing industries considered an asset.
