Job Description


Senior IT Support Specialist (5+ years) with high level of knowledge in Windows / Microsoft environment required for a Engineering / Construction based company

The primary responsibility of IT Support Specialist will be to handle IT support needs of the business operations in Canada. This is a fully on site position located in Burnaby, British Columbia. There is possibility for Hybrid work of 2 to 3 days per week for the right candidate

Requirements

Must Have skills:

  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or information systems preferred
  • Experience with Windows OS, cloud platforms like AD/O365 and Azure, HP hardware, MS Dynamics, Great Plains, Key2Act preferred.
  • Maintaining local IT Infrastructure including network equipment, connectivity, servers, workstations, and other peripherals to ensure environment is fully supported.
  • IT Equipment procurement, provisioning and deployment including necessary communication and coordination.
  • Deploying new tools/services and managing day to day IT support requests
  • Cybersecurity incident response, commutation, and coordination.
  • Providing technical support assistance for all departments across multiple physical locations.
Nice to have skills:
  • ITIL or other standard IT support certifications is a plus
