Main Responsibilities:
Inspect, maintain, and repair underground and surface mobile mining equipment. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on equipment. Read and interpret mechanical schematics and technical plans. Adjust and replace defective parts. Conduct pre-operational inspections and equipment startup procedures. Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times. Collaborate with other teams on-site.
Employment Conditions:
Rotational schedule based on the mining site (
14-14
).12-hour shifts
, alternating between day and night.Competitive salary between $38.00/hour and $54.00/hour
, based on experience and position. Overtime paid at time and a half as per site policy.Accommodation and meals provided on-site.

Diploma in Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Truck and Coach Mechanic
. Red Seal Certification, an asset.Experience in mobile equipment mechanics, preferably in a mining environment.
Knowledge of hydraulics, electricity, and welding.
Ability to read mechanical schematics and blueprints. Underground or Surface Commoncore Certificate, (an asset).Valid driver's license (Class 5 minimum).
