Our work hours, vacation time, and sick or care leave policies are designed to support healthy engagement with work and space for a satisfying life outside of it.About the Role: The Head of Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing demand generation marketing in a B2B SaaS ecosystem, with higher ed institutions, often academic libraries and centres for teaching and learning as the main buyers. This position is a management role and involves the oversight and management of a small marketing team. The goal of the Head of Marketing is to deliver on sales targets set in collaboration with the sales team, increasing the number of Marketing Qualified Leads and Sales Qualified Leads. Content marketing makes up the bulk of marketing activities, but you are also responsible for marketing operations, conference participation and other event marketing activities, social media, and SEO/SEM projects.About You: You are excited about helping to grow a mission-driven edtech company, working in the innovative space of open publishing, open education, and accessible education. You are independent and love challenges, and want to be part of a team reaching for the next level while contributing to a sea change in education. You have some experience leading others, and you operate well in a collaborative, agile company that prizes initiative. You are comfortable working with a small, remote team.
