We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a Head Baker. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in French/Italian cake production and preparation, who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties
Prepare variety of cakes according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, including bakery production and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food output.
Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas for new cakes and pastries.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
Qualifications
Previous experience in bakery production or preparation within a culinary setting is essential.
Strong baking skills with knowledge of various techniques and styles.
Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is required.
Previous baking experience is preferred, demonstrating an ability to work under pressure.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a busy kitchen environment.
