Position Status: Full Time, Seasonal, Hourly 4 days a week. Thursday to Sunday. 8 to 10 hours a day. Potential to add Wednesdays Job summary: You will be responsible for supervising the Guest Services Agents and helping at Guest Services as necessary. Guest Services Agent will be selling the products, services and programs offered at Mt. Sima to our guests. You will also be responsible for the look and feel of our lodge; ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
Duties:
  • Assist GS Manager with daily tasks
  • Prepare for group bookings
  • Assist with event and coordination with operations
  • Daily operations and rotation of GS staff
  • To deliver great guest experiences to all Mt Sima users.
  • Most work is performed indoors, but you will be expected to occasionally perform outdoor work.
  • Give personalized service to all guests, and provide them with accurate information.
  • Seek out accurate information when needed in order to answer all guests\xe2\x80\x99 questions.
  • Know and be up-to-date on all prices, programs, events and policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
  • Keep guest relations, ticket office, validation as well as surrounding areas clean and tidy at all times.
  • Always show up on time and adhere to the grooming policy.
  • Be cheerful and courteous at all times with guests and staff.
  • Ensure that all guests and staff are in possession of a valid ticket or pass and that the person using the pass or ticket is correct.
  • Assist guests with ticket/pass problems, general inquiries or concerns.
  • Sanitize high touch areas and remind/reinforce COVID protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Experience supervising Staff
  • Demonstrate safe work practices
  • Broad experience in all aspects of customer service.
  • Must have strong communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
  • Can handle conflict resolution situations.
  • Mature, friendly and well presented.
  • A positive team player.
Preference given to those with:
  • Second language is an asset
  • Previous customer service and sales experience.
  • Computer literacy and previous experience with computerized sales and reservations systems.
  • Geographical knowledge of SIMA
