Job Description

We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality to join our Guest Services team at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Saskatoon Centre Hotel.



The Guest Service Supervisor will act as the source of reference and support for the front desk staff. The successful candidate is someone with a passion for hospitality and is eager to work with our team to provide the best stay possible for all our guests.




Duties and Responsibilities

• 
  Guide cast members to perform daily shift duties
• 
  Ensure hotel policies and procedures are adhered to
• 
  Show leadership through teamwork and continual agent development and training
• 
  Complete daily shift reports

• 
  Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner recognizing IHG Rewards Club Members as well as returning guests
• 
  Assist Guest Services Manager as needed
• 
  Take action to solve guest problems/complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines
• 
  Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
• 
  Perform other duties as assigned including guest room tours, concierge services, special guest requests, etc.

• 
  One-year supervisory customer service/front desk experience is preferred
• 
  Some College/University education is preferred
• 
  Must speak fluent English

  Strong communication skills are essential when interacting with guests and employees

  Strong math skills are used frequently when handling cash or credit
