Position Summary: This course addresses the social analysis of disasters, including interpretations of risk, vulnerability, and resilience; the link between emergency response, reconstruction, and development; the impact of climate change; and cultural interpretations of calamity. Case studies will illustrate the various issues.
Qualifications ? Required: Master?s Degree Qualifications ? Discipline: Humanities or Social Sciences Qualifications - Areas of Specialization: Demonstrated expertise in political, social and/or cultural theory.
