Position Summary:

The course examines the nature of danger and disasters, the scope of the human vulnerability and responses to them. It will look at risk and damaging events associated with extreme natural forces, technological accidents, epidemic diseases and human conflict.

Qualifications - Other: PhD or ABD (all but dissertation); Physical Geography expertise; Preference will be given to candidates who illustrate physical geography expertise in Teaching Dossier.

This appointment is in accordance with the , for which the Wilfrid Laurier Faculty Association (WLUFA) is the exclusive bargaining agent.
