Our client, a global leader in logistics and distribution, has a great opportunity for a Gatehouse Coordinator to join their team for full time work in Delta.

A successful candidate for a gatehouse coordinator role will have:

• Ability to delegate tasks and give direction to warehouse staff and truck drivers
• Experience with Excel, Word
• Fast typing speed
• Excellent reliability in terms of attendance & flexibility
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pick up new software relatively quickly
• Clear English language skills

The Gatehouse Coordinators perform some or all of the following duties:

• Use gate logs to guard containers / trailers into and out of the main and overflow yards in WebEC
• Control and secure original gate logs for the main and overflow yards
• Update spot locations for the movement of equipment between yards
• Work closely with yard check coordinator, operations department and trucking department to resolve issues regarding equipment that cannot be guarded in or out of the main or overflow yards
• Contact carriers when their empty containers have been moved from the main yard to an overflow yard
• Provide support to yard check coordinator and gatehouse guards

This opportunity provides competitive compensation including:

• Coordinator pay rate: $18 per hour

• Schedule - Monday to Friday for graveyard shifts 10:30 p.m - 6:30 a.m.
