Winpak Division is seeking a

Graphics Supervisor

to join their team based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba.



The Graphics Supervisor, reporting to the Manager of Graphic Arts, is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Graphics Department. This role provides direct supervision to the Print Coordinators, Graphics Sequencer, and Assessment & Quote Technician, ensuring efficient workflow and consistent output in alignment with departmental goals.


Key Responsibilities:



Operational Responsibilities




Work with the Print Coordinators to ensure that accurate information is provided to the Scheduling and Printing departments, including print tolerances, plate and colour standards, and any other details needed to reproduce the design. Ensure department procedures and production documents are current and up to date. Conduct press-side customer approvals, ensuring appropriate balance between operational capabilities and customer demand. Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner compliant with ISO 9001 and SQF 2000 standards. Other duties as assigned.

Team Leadership & Development




Mentor and guide graphics team members by providing constructive feedback and instruction to ensure all team members are capable of performing or developing to required standards. Develop and implement training and cross-training programs. Work with the department Manager to ensure adequate staffing levels within each functional area of the Graphics Department to meet internal and external customer expectations.

Cross-Functional & Customer Collaboration




Liaise with Scheduling, Production, and Marketing departments to ensure workload scheduling meets customer and manufacturing requirements. Dialogue directly with customers and external sales reps to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Work with the department Manager to develop, propose, and monitor goals and objectives for the Graphics Department in alignment with Winpak's overall goals. Promote teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication within the department and across the organization in support of Winpak's Continuous Improvement Initiatives.

Required Qualifications:




5 years of experience in flexographic pre-press or printing environment 3+ years of experience in a formal or informal leadership role 5+ years of experience in a role that required clear & effective communication to both internal and external partners 3+ years of experience in using Esko Webcenter, Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Preferred Qualifications:




Diploma in Graphics, Printing or a related field Experience with Esko and or Adobe products would be considered an asset. Experience in reading machine dielines and using graphic software. Experience with government regulations related to printing or graphics.

Additional Information:



This position is 100% onsite located in Murray Industrial Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba. There is limited bus access to this location.
