We currently require a Dynamic, Smart and Results oriented individual for our Graphic Designer and Web Specialist located Remotely. We are a national provider of workplace medical testing and assessments based in Ayr, Ontario. We have Occupational Health Clinics in Kitchener, Sarnia, Mississauga, Calgary, Nisku, Edmonton and Fort McMurray. The Digital and Graphic Design Lead is a key member of the DriverCheck Marketing team and is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, maintenance, and reporting of DriverCheck\xe2\x80\x99s digital presence (website, SEO, SEM, Google Ads) and lead the design of sales material, conferences / tradeshow materials, and clinic signage (interior and exterior). As the DriverCheck brand guardian, this role is responsible for ensuring all marketing materials accurately and consistently adhere to the company\xe2\x80\x99s brand standards. This role is responsible for supporting the marketing manager to deliver client focused campaigns and work with other stakeholders across the organization to develop marketing materials to support department plans. This includes establishing creative solutions and designing compelling user experiences with digital and web technologies to achieve business growth objectives.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Maintain DriverCheck\xe2\x80\x99s Digital Presence

  • Maintain DriverCheck\xe2\x80\x99s website by proactively working with the marketing team and stakeholders across the organization to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Lead the development and implementation of DriverCheck\xe2\x80\x99s SEO strategy to amplify brand presence, generate leads, drive conversion, and ensure highest organic search ranking. This includes leading competitive analysis, manage keywords, backlinks, and Google Ads and an active role in the implementation of quality digital content
  • Maintain strong and accurate online brand presence for DriverCheck\xe2\x80\x99s clinics across the country through management of Google Listings
  • Create and execute digital marketing strategies that drive results for our business and our community

Website Development & Maintenance Responsibilities

  • Lead direction of company\xe2\x80\x99s website \xe2\x80\x93 design, look, feel from a user perspective \xe2\x80\x93 fashioning everything from home page to site layout and function including webforms for capturing leads
  • Maintain current website and expand/scale the site by introducing new layouts for projects and expanded services when needed
  • Build wireframes, storyboards, and screen flows from verbal and written specifications
  • Analyze and report web metrics (traffic, lead generation etc.) and suggest solutions to boost web presence and performance
  • Manage and monitor SEO/SEM and digital sales performance metrics against targets and to forecast trends. Work with the content development team to ensure educational material is developed in line with the keywords/SEO/SEM strategy
  • Keep up-to-date with our audience\xe2\x80\x99s preferences and proactively suggest new content areas
  • Liaise with Marketing, Sales, and Content teams to optimize customer experience, ensure a steady flow of content to support SEO strategy and ensure accuracy of information
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to create digital approaches that link DriverCheck\xe2\x80\x99s website, emails, social media, online advertising, and blogs to deliver an impactful SEO strategy
  • Maintain ongoing compliance to AODA requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology developments

Graphic Design Responsibilities

  • Lead the company\xe2\x80\x99s design and branding initiatives; find opportunities to push and evolve our creative assets and our design processes
  • Design a wide-range of marketing, tradeshow, and conference materials (digital and print) to support the sales process including client-facing brochures, pamphlets, product pages, graphic elements for PowerPoint presentations (i.e., infographics) as well as materials such as banners, tradeshow booths and QR codes for capturing sales leads at events/conferences
  • Be responsible for producing a high volume of templated print, digital graphics, and swag that align with existing templates and brand guidelines
  • Work with other departments including clinics and occupational health to develop interior and exterior signage
  • Work with the Software Group when software phototypes are being developed to understand new software and produce associated client facing material
  • Develop brand guidelines and standards booklet and work with partner organizations to ensure adherence
  • Advocate for our brand standards for every project

Reporting and Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct monthly and annual reporting by establishing and reporting against growth targets and delivering insights and recommendations ongoing for DriverCheck\xe2\x80\x99s digital presence including drivercheck.ca, SEO and keywords

  • Is a data-driven decision maker focused on using data to uncover insights and make continuous improvement recommendations

  • Documentation of existing processes and identification of ways to do things more effectively and efficiently to achieve desired business outcomes

What you need to be successful in the role:
  • University Degree or College Diploma
  • Minimum of 4+ years of graphic and web design and maintenance experience
  • Advanced level of knowledge and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Efficiently navigate and use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and Mac Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
  • Ability to use and leverage Google Analytics
  • Proficiency with Squarespace; some knowledge of HTML/CCS practices an asset
  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to work independently while ensuring effective status reporting
  • Video production and editing as asset but not required
