Length: 6-month contract with the potential for extension and permanent placement dependent on performance.

Looking for a talented and passionate designer to join our award-winning creative services team. As an Integrated Designer, you\'ll play a key role in translating clients\' briefs into visually stunning and cohesive experiences across various platforms. From digital to print, you\'ll seamlessly integrate design elements to deliver a unified and impactful message. The ideal candidate keeps their finger on the pulse of industry trends and the latest best practices, constantly pushing creative boundaries to deliver solutions that stand out and grab attention.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Create visually compelling designs for both digital and print media, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
Work under direction from the creative and art directors, as well as using your initiative.
Be responsible for the full design lifecycle of your projects from concept to execution.
Pitch creative solutions in response to assigned projects.
Uphold the client\'s brand identity standards and ensure a cohesive visual language across all touchpoints
Prepare files that will comply with print and digital specifications.
Work collaboratively with other designers, copywriters and marketing specialists to achieve impactful campaigns.
Manage multiple products simultaneously.Qualifications:
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor\'s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.
Designer who is proficient with InDesign;
Has experience using Acrobat Pro
Experience with interactive form design using InDesign and Acrobat Pro;
Experience or an understanding of designing for accessibility and/or remediating PDFs;
Can follow instructions and is a quick learner; Team player and willingness to learn
Communicates well with the team
Has access to PC and Mac platforms (this should be under \'Bonus\') but CL is only PC base if we have to teach them CL - See my note on #4 abov
Has experience using Common Look PDF to remediate accessible PDFs to pass AODA standards (WCAG 2.2 and PDF/UA level AA
Has experience with simple JavaScript or other coding.
Can speak and write in French would be an asset
Understands the purpose and uses Paragraph styles
Confident with responsive design, UI/UX and wireframing.
Basic knowledge and understanding of HTML and CSS are an advantage.
Ability to adapt design style to suit different platforms and communication objectives.
Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.
Must be articulate, charismatic and a skilled presenter.EDUCATION
