Job Description

The CompanyOur client in the Manufacturing industry is looking for a Graphic Designer for a 1 month initial contract. This opportunity will require the Graphic Designer to work in office, 5 days per week in North York (near Weston Rd/401).The PositionThe Graphic Designer will be responsible for executing the production phase of graphic design projects, ensuring that designs are translated accurately across various mediums and delivered to clients or publication channels on timeResponsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to translate project briefs and concepts into compelling visual designs
- Translate design concepts and mockups into production-ready artwork for digital and print media, including but not limited to: advertisements, brochures, packaging, web/eCommerce, social media assets, and promotional materials.
- Manage and organize digital asset libraries, including file naming conventions, version control, and archiving of completed projects.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, software updates, and production techniques to continually improve efficiency and quality of output.- 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in an agency or design studio setting.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for creativity.
