About the S3 Program

As a company committed to developing our future workforce, we created a program that will enable you to fast track your career through classroom and on-the-job training and clear benchmarks.

At the start of the program, we will fly you to the United States to take part in our robust 90-day training program based in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. During this training, Academy participants gain the foundational knowledge needed to have a basic understanding of the Storage Industry, NetApp, and products and solutions. Additionally, they effectively develop transferable soft skills that will allow them to excel within the organization and in their long-term careers.

You will experience an exciting 3 months with Graduate peers from all over the world. Afterwards you will return to Ireland to start the on-the-job portion of your training.

Job Summary

As a Solution Sales Professional (SSP), you will lead sales engagements and be responsible for articulating
the value of your solution area to customers. You will partner with NetApp Client Executives and lead the
end-to-end sales process through deal closure. You will be required to hunt for, and qualify, new
opportunities in your assigned territory. You will build and maintain relationships with all NetApp Client
Executives in your assigned territory, helping them understand the solution so they are able to assist in
identifying new opportunities in their customer base.

Job Requirements

  • Work with Client Executives to prospect, qualify, and develop a robust sales pipeline to meet revenue
bookings targets
  • Collaborate with Sales team to develop and implement sales strategies to capture net-new customers
  • Conduct discovery and execute the sales process to determine the scope of the customers\' needs
  • Communicate the value of the offering to the various personas within an account
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects aligned to area of expertise
  • Timely and accurate updating of CRM customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data to ensure the
generation of accurate territory and management reports
  • Leverage corporate tools and account intelligence to uncover opportunities within your territory
  • Serve as an evangelist for your area of expertise within NetApp, and externally
  • Continuously improve sales skills and knowledge of specific products and offerings aligned to specialty
Your Profile
  • You will have successfully completed a BSc or MSc (in Computer Science, IT or a related technical discipline) within the last 3 years, prior to the start of the program in February 2024.
  • Please note this role is also open to applicants who do not have degrees. We welcome applicants with professional certifications or relevant professional experience.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in English.
  • You must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship. Please refer to the recruiter for roles in other global locations.
