BigSteelBox is Canada's most diversified shipping container company. We have recently experienced exceptional growth and have exciting expansion plans for the future. To meet this growth, we are looking for a full-time, experienced sales professional for our container modification division to join our growing team for the GTA.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Work independently to help drive new business
Sales prospecting (80%) and account management (20%)
Proactively call target customers to drive new modification sales, while collaborating with Regional Account Managers to identify existing accounts with modification potential
Track and report on sales activities in the CRM, focusing on dials and meetings, while maintaining visibility into the value of the open quote pipeline.
Works with clients to develop a project scope that ensures our proposed solution will meet their needs.
Work with the Product or Production Manager to ensure quotes align with both customer requirements and our standardized product offering, making substitutions when needed or obtaining accurate pricing for non-standard builds.
Issues production orders and drawings to shop, provides status updates both internally and externally.

Grown a territory and existing accounts

Worked with a long or short sales cycle
3 years outside sales experience
Flourished in a small company environment that is continually changing and growing
Front of the Line: If you have the experience:
3 years plus outside sales experience
Experience selling to mining and construction companies as well as cities, municipalities, government agencies, and utilities providers.
Ability to read basic construction drawings
Experience using Salesforce CRM
Education:
Minimum High School education.
