Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Pro Shop Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the pro shop's operations. This position requires strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for customer service. The Pro Shop Attendant will assist customers with product selections, manage inventory, and ensure a welcoming environment.

Duties

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling. Demonstrate products to customers, highlighting features and benefits to encourage sales. Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display through effective merchandising techniques. Stock shelves and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability. Supervise junior staff or volunteers as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or reservations.

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is essential; experience in a grocery store setting is a plus. Familiarity with basic math concepts for cash handling and retail transactions. Supervising experience is preferred but not mandatory; leadership potential will be considered. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members.
