Job Description

Eganridge Resort, Golf Club & Spa is looking for a new Golf Course Superintendent.

The successful individual will be expected to lead by example while supervising and guiding coworkers in performing groundskeeping daily tasks.

The superintendent will report directly to the Property Director, with the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

Planning, supervising, and performing day to day grass operations including irrigation and fertilizer/pesticide application Operating grass-cutting equipment & the irrigation system. Training and teaching staff on jobs/duties as well as the upkeep and safety of all maintenance equipment Maintaining a safe and clean workplace Frequent communication with the Property Director to discuss upcoming events, weather, and capital improvement plans Proper record keeping and logs for water usage, gasoline usage, fertilization and chemical applications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years turf grass related experience at a golf course Hold a valid Ontario Landscape Pesticide Application License and have experience in fertilizing and pesticide application IPM Certification & Accreditation Mechanical skills are an asset Ability to plan, follow and execute a budget Organizational skills are very important as is attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
