Position Summary:

Procurement is responsible for sourcing EUR14 bn worth of goods and services, from approximately 60,000 trade suppliers, supplying more than 80 factories around the world and providing services to 5 Global Business Units and all global support functions in more than 100 countries. Our ambition is to build a best-in-class, harmonized and flawless Global Supplier Diversity Program that is easy to use for our internal customers and adding value to the company.

The Global Supplier Diversity Program Manager role is a member of the CSR -Corporate sustainability and Risk office under procurement. The role is defined to manage both internal and external relationships to the Global Approach of SANOFI to Supplier Diversity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall mission design, implementation, and results for Supplier Diversity.

This position reports to the Head of Global Supplier Diversity and will be based in Bridgewater, NJ or at one of our HQ locations in Paris, France.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Communication Strategy.

Global Engagement Strategy Internal and External.

Stake holder relationship management with assigned specific country procurement heads and domain and categories.

Infrastructure Gap Assessment for automation of Supplier Diversity.

Lead Transformation and organization culture change to embed supplier diversity in Procurement process and Policies.

Supplier Diversity KPI metrics analysis and reporting.

Lead the Global Supplier Diversity Council.

Manage the Supplier Diversity Events and sponsorships.

Represent SANOFI on the global Platform for Supplier Diversity Network.

Maintain and report out on Govt. Compliance reporting requirements globally.

Participate and support corporate Audits, external benchmarking data exercises.

Facilitate Billion Dollar Round Table induction of SANOFI.

Manage the vendor setup process for Diverse Suppliers onboarding.

Design and lead the Official Diverse Supplier Mentorship Program.

Work with Large Banking partners to design a low interest rate program to support Working capital issues of Small and Diverse Businesses.

Maintain the Supplier Diversity Budget Book.

Design and lead the Annual Supplier Diversity Symposium.

Design and lead the annual SANOFI Awards nomination process for annual recognition.

Support DEI with various DEI initiative and partner from supplier diversity perspective.

Lead and manage Tier 2 reporting.

Maintain Data Scrubbing process.

Manage partnerships sponsorship annually.

Act as the Primary point of contact for the various regions as needed.

Maintain Supplier Diversity social media presence and website maintenance.

Key Requirements:

Undergraduate business degree or Communications or related field required, MBA desired.

7+ years or more experience in Supplier Diversity managing large Global events, participating in shows and setting up booth and expertise in outreach and networking globally.

Strong networking skills internally and externally

In-depth knowledge on government reporting requirements for USA, Canada, and EU, Asia.

Autonomous, with excellent communication skills, PowerPoint skills, expertise in building business cases and ability to influence Leaders.

Self-Starter and ability to function with minimal guidance.

SCRUM training desired with Agile mindset. Ability to handle multiple projects under strict timelines.

Ability to travel 30% of the time domestically as well as internationally.

Project Management experience required, PMP certificate desired.

Ability to function in a dynamic environment with multi-tasking skills.
