Marks is hiring a Global Head of Production for our Marks Toronto studio!

Responsibilities

Provide Leadership across our Team of Producers, delivering excellence across multi-channel workflows:

• Partnering closely with XXX Global CGI & Photography to set the vision for multi-channel production
• Set the vision for how CS, Design, Project Management and Scheduling engage the Production Teams
• Create best practice workflows in the budgeting and delivery of Film, Advertising Creative, Animation, Photography, Digital Content, Events etc.)

You will be the go-to authority for all Production matters, ensuring:

• Client and creative needs are deeply understood, building robust cost and project outlines
• Accurate finances are maintained and tracked for all projects slated to Production
• Effective talent identification, project planning and resource scheduling for Creative projects and delivery across:

• Marcom
• CGI
• Photography
• The integrity of the Creative vision, in conjunction with the Art Directors / Design Leadership

You will identify and maintain a global network of partners across the agency\xe2\x80\x99s skill needs (eg External Production, Creative, Editing, Animation, Creative Re-touching, Videography\xe2\x80\xa6)

Across your teams you will:

• Maximize engagement with our chosen Finance and Project Management tool
• Coach, mentor and manage reports against clear objectives, aligned to the agency strategy
• Ensure the team follow company and HR policy, including Heath & Safety requirements

Prerequisites

• 15+ years experience within Production, having previously led Production teams
• Prior experience within a Design / Creative agency setting
• Demonstrated experience setting up teams, introducing best practice, especially in a multi location / geography context
• Understanding of CGI and Photographic workflows
• Strong aural and written communication skills, taking a listening and understanding first approach
• Solid understanding of MS Office, Keynote, Adobe Acrobat
