GENERAL OFFICE ADMINISTRATION

for a HVAC/Mechanical contractor in the greater Vancouver area for over 30 years. Our service department is has grown significantly over the last two years, as well as having a substantial construction department. Company is looking to hire a full-time highly motivated experienced General Office Administrator to join our service team and grow with our company. The successful candidate will have great customer service skills, the ability to multitask, good time management skills and be detail oriented. You must possess a positive attitude, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with others.

Qualification Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years in office experience Experience in Accounts Receivable/Billing minimum 1 year Scheduling/dispatching experience within the industry would be a benefit but not mandatory Computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, comfortable and ability to learn new systems quickly
Duties and Responsibilities:

Account Receivable duties, entering of Cash Receipts, issuing statements to clients and collections as required Service billings for Service Department Back up Scheduling/Dispatcher of technicians to service and maintenance calls Assisting in answering phones Customer Service Assisting Finance Administrator as required Assisting/Cross training of Contract Maintenance position Cross training of Accounts Payable position Job costing of completed jobs within Service Department Administrative support to contract sales staff
Maintaining filling (shared duty)

Other general office duties as required
Compensation: Compensation based on experience, paid bi-weekly consistent with the company's payroll practices. Direct deposit is available. If you are interested in joining our team, forward resume and cover letter.

Hours of work will be 7:30 am-4:00pm Monday to Friday, 8 hours pay per day, hour unpaid lunch, full-time, in person position Participation in the extended health plan provided through our company's employee benefit provider, effective date determined by benefits provider. Vacation time as per employment standards.
Experience:

dispatch/scheduling: 1 year (preferred) worked in an office environment, min 2 years billing
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
