Position Summary:

Canada\'s first Gordon Ramsay Burger at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver will be opening it\'s doors later this year and we\'re currently on the lookout for our General Manager, Gordon Ramsay Burger. The General Manager, Gordon Ramsay Burger will exemplify leadership and will thrive in a fast, vibrant, and dynamic, environment. In this position, you will act as the leader in our restaurant, upholding service priorities including fast, friendly, professional, and responsive service to the team and guests. Our next General Manager, Gordon Ramsay Burger is responsible for providing a signature standard of unrivaled experiences and exceptional hospitality to our guests. Key Accountabilities:

  • Providing leadership, direction and mentoring to the Food & Beverage operation
  • Developing performance objectives and delivering performance evaluations for direct reports
  • Planning, directing and implementing Food & Beverage strategic plans and business plans
  • Promoting and marketing the business
  • Maximizing the revenues of the restaurant while minimizing operating costs
  • Preparing and monitoring the annual and long term F&B budgets and forecasts
  • Analyzing P&L statements and presenting to the Executive Team with suggestions for improvement
  • Offering F&B expertise to all internal and external guests
  • Approving all Food & Beverage related POs and invoices
  • Overseeing the monthly inventory count and managing discrepancies
  • Working to accomplish departmental goals, strategies, and objectives, while assuring quality product, maximum guest satisfaction and maintaining budgetary profit margins
  • Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, management, team members and vendors
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performing other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications:
  • Legendary guest service skills with a \xe2\x80\x9cMake it Happen\xe2\x80\x9d attitude
  • Understanding of yourself and others when communicating with team members and guests
  • A passion for providing unrivaled service to our internal guests in the quest of achieving service excellence

  • Post secondary education in Hospitality Management or suitable combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years in all facets of the Food & Beverage operation including a minimum 2 years successful management experience
  • Previous management experience working in a premium-casual restaurant or establishment
  • Previous experience being a part of restaurant pre-opening team is a huge asset
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a large team
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Level 1 & 2 Food Safe Certification
  • Multi-outlet management experience an asset
  • Proven track record of driving the profitability of Food & Beverage operations
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Serving It Right certificate
  • The ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
