Canada\'s first Gordon Ramsay Burger is well underway at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver, and we\'re on the lookout for our next Shift Managers, Gordon Ramsay Burger. Key Accountabilities

  • Providing hands on leadership and development to the Gordon Ramsay Burger operation
  • Directing the day-to-day activities of your Gordon Ramsay Burger colleagues
  • Conducting monthly inventory counts
  • Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
  • Maximizing the revenues of our Gordon Ramsay Burger outlet while minimizing operating costs
  • Managing reservations system and training Host team
  • Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Developing and cultivating Great Experiences and Memories with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and colleagues)
  • Contributing to the overall company goals, initiatives and objectives
  • Reconciling team member time cards
  • Managing team member request time off and scheduling
  • Performance management of service team
  • Ensure compliance of all health and safety rules and regulations
  • Conducting interviews and making hiring decisions
  • Onboarding and training new team members
  • Conduct meetings for service team
  • Performing other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications
  • Legendary Guest service skills with a \xe2\x80\x9cMake it Happen\xe2\x80\x9d attitude
  • Understanding of yourself and others when communicating with team members and guests

  • Minimum of 2 years Food & Beverage Supervisory experience in a premium-casual restaurant or establishment
  • Previous experience in opening a restaurant and working in a fast-paced premium casual restaurant an asset
  • Post-secondary hospitality/hotel education or suitable combination of education and experience an asset
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Proven track record of driving the profitability of Food & Beverage operations
  • Computer literacy in MS Office; POS experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development
  • Ability to obtain Food Safe Levels 1 & 2 as required; ability to obtain Serving it Right certification
  • WSET Certification an asset
  • Ability to abide to all compliance requirements
  • The ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
Work Environment Considerations
  • Regular office, restaurant and casino environment, standing or walking for long periods of time and non-traditional work hours
