Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will poses masonry experience and be responsible for performing a variety of tasks both at our shop and on job sites . This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Refractory/Masonry work (removal & installation of refractory lining) Assistance to licensed gas technicians as required. Operate basic hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Carpentry (rough framing and forming for refractory installation) Steel work (drilling, grinding, riveting, fasteners) Assist with loading, unloading and delivering equipment and materials Operate equipment such as trucks, trailers, forklifts, tractors and other implements (training to be provided) Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work areas, tools and equipment. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Demonstrate respect, compassion and integrity when communicating with clients and co-workers

Skills

Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds). Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently. Strong English written and communication skills Capable of working both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment Experience with a variety of hand and power tools Clean valid driver's license with daily reliable mode of transportation to Uxbridge, Ontario. Willingness to travel domestically Ability to work flexible and extended hours Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities as needed.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Capable of lifting and/or moving heavy objects up to 75 lbs Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, squat, climb, crouch or crawl Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception Work is performed in commercial/industrial setting which may include confined spaces Respirators, gloves, and fall protection may be required on specific sites, which is provided for the employee

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (occasional weekend) Day shift but can run into evenings
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
