CRC RV Center, a subsidiary of Leisure Days RV Group, located in Truro Heights, Nova Scotia, has an immediate opportunity for a full-time, seasonal General Labourer / Driver.

Overview:



As a General Laborer / Driver you will be performing pre-delivery inspections, accurately diagnosing, and repairing a variety of technical issues, inspecting, and adjusting, or overhauling recreational vehicles and trailers. You will also be delivering RVs / travel trailers on behalf of the dealership.

You will be also responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, participating in training, assisting co-workers, completing jobs with efficiency and other tasks as required on behalf of the dealership.

Compensation:

$17-20/hr. depending on experience

Reports to:

General Manager

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:



Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient customer service.

Performing deliveries of RVs on behalf of the dealership

Detail new and used customer units prior to customer pick up.

Clean, maintain and organize sales lot inventory.

Perform demonstrations to customers picking up their purchase.

Recondition and paint/ fabric protection for used inventory.

Examine/troubleshoot and diagnose units needing repair and maintenance.

Discuss repairs and communicate additional requests with the shop foreman and service advisor.

Provide plan work procedures and labor time estimates to the service advisor and shop foreman.

Use testing equipment / troubleshooting techniques / manufacturers specs and internet websites.

Monitor repair time and update service advisor regularly.

Maintain adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation.

Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs.

Attend company and factory training and keep current with factory technical bulletins.

Understand and follow federal, provincial, and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste).

Essential Skills & Qualifications:



Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driver's abstract.

Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including driving, bending, lifting, sitting, standing, walking, climbing, twisting, pushing and pulling.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)

An eye for the details.

Consider the safety of others in situations where there is a risk of harm.

Communicate with co-workers and customers.

Follow company rules and procedures for collecting and scanning tickets.

Previous detail experience & RV knowledge would be considered assets.

Operate a forklift or other heavy machinery will be considered an asset.
