Job Summary

We are currently seeking a reliable and physically capable

Driver and General Labourer

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for hauling and transporting materials and equipment using dump trailers and flat decks (up to 40 feet long), as well as supporting on-site and general labour tasks.

This position is ideal for someone who is safety-conscious, highly organized, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Experience with moving heavy machinery is an asset.

Key Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles to transport materials and equipment between vendors, job sites, and disposal facilities. Haul and maneuver flat decks and dump trailers (up to 40 ft) safely and efficiently. Dump loads at designated landfill or disposal locations as directed. Pick up building and project materials from suppliers and deliver them to work sites in a timely manner. Assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Support job site cleanups, debris removal, and other general labour tasks as assigned. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle and trailers. Complete and maintain daily driver logs and delivery records. Comply with all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.

Requirements

Valid

Class 5 Driver's License

with a

clean Driver's Abstract

. Proven experience hauling

dump trailers and flat decks up to 40 feet

. Ability to

safely maneuver and reverse trailers

in tight or complex spaces.

Experience moving heavy machinery

(e.g., mini-excavators, skid steers, etc.) is a strong asset. Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy objects regularly. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and safety. Willingness to perform manual labour and assist with site work as needed.

Work Conditions

Outdoor work in variable weather conditions. Regular lifting, bending, and physical exertion are required. May involve early mornings, extended hours, or weekend work depending on project needs.
