Position Overview:

We're seeking a versatile and experienced general laborer to

work directly for Pipia Contracting

, and to handle projects such as fences, decks, basements, kitchens, general home renovations and more. This is a contact-based position, so you must be able to work independently, and have own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and repair fences, decks, and outdoor structures Perform interior renovations including basements, kitchens, bathrooms and flooring Complete general painting and maintenance projects - including work in a school setting Preform framing, drywall, painting, flooring, trim work, and other general carpentry Read and follow plans and/or blueprints accurately Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Preform physical labour on construction sites like digging, lifting or carrying materials Assist in setup and cleanup of work areas Operate hand and power tools under supervision Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team leads

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, renovations or general contracting Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Must have your

own HST number

or willing to obtain one ASAP

(mandatory)

Own tools, vehicle, and safety gear Strong carpentry and general renovation skills Ability to work independently or with a team Excellent communication and time management Comfortable working in schools and public buildings with professionalism

Nice to Have:

Experience with minor electrical or plumbing Safety certifications (e.g., Working at Heights) Project management experience or ability to lead small crews

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
