Alberco Construction Ltd., leaders in water sewer infrastructure and bridge construction, is hiring an energetic l

ocal experienced concrete laborer for a Dickson dam project.

Min 2 years construction experience and some basic carpentry required, as well as willingness to do heavy labor.

Opportunity for advancement through carpentry apprenticeship if you're looking for long term and are willing to relocate to Edmonton after this project. Possible Year-round employment

GENERAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Load, unload, and transport construction materials.

- Use various site construction tools.

- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, and other items.

- Assist with placing and finishing concrete.

- Identify hazards on site and contribute to a safe work environment.

General Requirements:

- Reliable vehicle to go to and from work.

- Ability to do basic carpentry - cutting, measuring accurately, hammering.

- Physically apt to perform job duties.

- Ability to work as a team and communicate with coworkers.

- Willingness to learn general construction practices.

- Concrete formwork and bridge construction experience is nice to have.

Wages start at $23.50 to $27 per hour depending on experience.
