Job Title: General Accountant
Location: North York HYBRID
Industry: Manufacturing & Distribution
Salary: $68,000 -$72,000 plus excellent benefits and perks program
Our client is a small, Canadian owner and operated manufacturing company. This role will have you working within a fun environment and be a part of a work family. Reporting to the Controller, and working closely with a junior accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties to help maintain the complete set of books for the Group of Companies. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- daily cash reports (USD and CDN)
- daily receivable and aging reports
- general account and inter-company reconciliations
- bank reconciliations
- month end close including inter-company transactions
- HST remittances, US sales tax returns
- assist with month end reporting
- BComm and pursuing CPA preferred
- 3+ years full cycle accounting experience with a small or medium enterprise is ideal
- Advanced Excel and Analytics, SAP ECC (ERP) knowledge is an asset but not a requirement
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
