Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in working with gas appliances and HVAC systems. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various gas-related equipment to ensure safety and efficiency in operations.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair gas appliances, including boilers and HVAC systems. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and functionality. Perform routine maintenance on gas systems to ensure optimal performance. Build, plumb, and install new gas lines as required for residential or commercial projects. Utilize welding techniques for repairs or installations as necessary. Maintain accurate records of service performed, including parts used and time spent on each job. Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair or HVAC systems. Familiarity with schematics and ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively. Strong skills in building, plumbing, and maintaining gas lines. Welding experience is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications or licenses in gas technology are preferred but not required.
