Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated 4th Class Power Engineer to join our team. This position involves operating, maintaining, and servicing steam boilers and associated equipment, specifically boilers under 150 horsepower.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain steam boilers (under 150 hp) and other steam-producing equipment. Monitor boiler performance and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operation. Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Support and service HVAC systems and related equipment. Perform adjustments, repairs, and installations involving gas-fired equipment. Maintain accurate records and logs of operations, maintenance, and inspections. Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Valid 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate. Valid G2 Gas Technician License (Ontario or equivalent). Strong knowledge of boiler operation, steam systems, and HVAC equipment. Ability to work independently and respond to emergency situations as needed. Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Education:

AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:

POWER ENG AND HVAC: 4 years (required)
Licence/Certification:

G2 GAS LICENSE (required) 4TH CLASS POWER ENGINEERING LICENSE (required)
