OUR COMPANY:

Since 1993, Gas Plus has been serving the Owen Sound area as a leading supplier and installer of residential HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners and fireplaces. Originally operating out of a small showroom on the east side of Owen Sound, Gas Plus has expanded into a large new location on Owen Sound's Sunset strip, allowing us to widen our inventory to include the latest models of barbecues, gas fireplaces, gas stoves and standby generators.

THE POSITION:

Gas Plus is currently seeking a G3 Gas Technician or Labourer looking to gain experience in residential HVAC and work towards gaining a G2 Gas Technician Licence. Successful candidates will work with experienced, licenced G2 techs and assist with installation, maintenance and service, as well as light duties around our shop.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist lead hands throughout the day on HVAC installs & service Keep trucks and shop organized and clean Work independently on tasks at jobsite and shop Adhere to site-specific health and safety protocols Have a positive professional attitude, and be motivated to meet company & customer standards and timelines

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

G3 Gas Fitter License is an asset Must have: Valid G Driver's License (clean record) Must be: Very Punctual and Reliable, and able to work 40 - 44 hours / week + overtime Must have: Good problem solving and mechanical skills Must be: Able to work at heights and in confined spaces Must be: Able to handle a physical workload

Pay: $36,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
