Job Summary
We are seeking a strong, passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team in our very busy toddler class.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development of children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate and engaging activities that promote learning through play.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support each child's growth and development.
• Encourage children's creativity through art, music, movement, and play-based learning activities.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress.
• Collaborate with special education professionals to support children with diverse learning needs.
• Lead classroom activities while promoting teamwork among students.

Requirements

• degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
• Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire students effectively.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
• Ability to write clear reports and maintain organized documentation of student progress.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.47-$25.35 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
