Full Time Client Care Receptionist/ Animal Care Attendant
Job Description
The Animal Emergency Clinic of Durham Region is adding to our Client Care Receptionist/Vet Assistant team. We're looking for someone with a great sense of humour, enjoys ER life and shift work. All successful candidates will be cross-trained. Work along a supportive team in a fast-paced ER environment. ER and/or GP experience is an asset.
A Few attributes and qualifications are;
Caring for our patients; Ensuring they are walked and feed and their housing is clean and comfortable
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Excellent customer service skills; creating a welcoming environment for pets and pet parents
General housekeeping duties; varies areas around the clinic ensuring a clean environment
We offer uniforms, benefits and pet health discounts are among some of the perks. Shifts will include days, evenings and some overnights, including weekday/weekend/stat holidays. Hours start at 30 hours per week. Rotational schedule offers flexibility.
