About the Job
We are looking for a Website Services Fulfillment Manager who will be responsible for managing the growth and development of the Websites fulfillment team (incl. web designers, developers, and graphic designers). They will provide guidance and support to their team, assist in directing and distributing the workload, and monitor ongoing projects to ensure success.
Customer service is at the core of what we do in Marketing Services. A successful candidate will have effective communication skills, as well as hands-on experience in website development. They will be able to explain technical concepts in a way our partners/SMBs can understand. The Fulfillment Manager is expected to join calls with partners/SMBs as needed to showcase the Websites service offering; receive feedback and address concerns; or discuss project goals and potential solutions.
The Website Services Fulfillment Manager will be required to understand our partner’s/SMBs’ goals and objectives, and will work with their team to implement a strategy to ensure success. They will have a passion for delivering the highest level of support and service delivery, while also instilling this passion in their team so they can do the same.
The impact you’ll have

  • Lead and grow a talented team of Web Developers/Designers and Graphic Designers through mentorship and training
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with other team members and managers within Marketing Services, especially our overseas fulfillment teams
  • Conduct weekly 1+1 meetings with direct reports to communicate goals, follow-up on progress, and encourage/assist with professional development
  • Request and receive feedback from both internal and external stakeholders, and take action to address any concerns
  • Own the website creation pipeline and ensure that orders are processed efficiently and to the highest standard
  • Regularly lead by example by demonstrating Vendasta’s Leadership Principles and Core Values, and instill this values in new and existing team members
  • Monitor partner/SMB feedback and assist team members in navigating escalations; follow-up on the resolution to ensure success
  • Manage the Website Services profit/loss (P&L) and identify opportunities where we can improve
  • Deliver growth through strategy and innovation by continually seeking new ways to improve processes and implement solutions
  • Lead the team in overall website development and design strategies by maintaining industry knowledge and staying up to date with new trends and advancements for websites
  • Support internal stakeholders throughout the pre-sale process by providing sales quotes, answering questions, and attending calls as-needed
  • Train new and existing team members on Website Services products and processes
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to vendors, engineering, design, distribution, and service fulfillment at multiple levels within the company

The value you’ll bring
  • 3+ years experience in website development/design
  • Experience leading a large team (5+) to success
  • Demonstrated expertise in website tools, including WordPress platform, Divi, eCommerce (Ecwid, BigCommerce), and other plugins as needed
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a supportive way to help laypeople understand
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and grow a team to achieve their goals; proven history of building teams by development leaders and recruiting outstanding talent
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and guide team through difficult or confusing projects
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute plans over multiple quarters
  • Able to navigate antagonistic situations, using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict
  • Superb attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when completing tasks, including strong self-management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced “rocketship” environment; flexible, and able to adjust to evolving business needs with the ability to understand the “big picture” of our business plans and goals

  • Days to launch for Website deliverables
  • Number of websites ordered on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Average number pages developed per developer
  • Number of pages revised per developer
  • Number of pages QA’d per developer
  • Website Support request turnaround times
  • Overdue task tracking and reduction
