The Next Trend Designs Inc. (TNT) is a full-service Promotional Marketing company in Mississauga, ON which offers storage, fulfillment and distribution to its\xe2\x80\x99 valued customers. We are looking for an energetic, experienced operations and fulfillment manager for our warehouse to oversee and participate in all aspects of the fulfillment, distribution and warehouse process. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience as well as the following:
- Overseeing daily order fulfillment activities, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping preparation
- Possess a current forklift license and comfortable with re-certifying as required
- Participate in the order fulfillment as needed based on overall company demand
- Tracking inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and/or deadstock
- Support existing as well as implement as necessary, standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control, logistics management, and order fulfillment to meet operational goals
- Preventing inventory shrinkage, accidents, and occupational hazards
- Managing a dynamic team full-time and part-time warehouse staff, and other direct reports
- Maintaining positive and mutually beneficial relationships with vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and 3PLs as necessary
- Providing data-backed and actionable updates to senior management to improve order fulfillment
- Proven track record of analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills
- Prior experience and familiarity with warehouse operations*
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) inventory management systems, and warehouse management systems
