Financial Risk Technology is involved in delivering solutions across all Markets businesses including the central business teams which leverage this data across Risk Management and Finance. This role will provide a unique opportunity to gain hands on direct exposure to different areas of Market and Front Office Risk working closely with the business and technology users as they face any new challenges.

The FRTB IMA BA/PM is a project management professional who stays abreast of developments within their field of expertise and who shall support the execution of a priority workstream of the FRTB Initiative within Technology. They will leverage their industry expertise and strong analytical & project execution skills to coordinate & drive delivery across technical, functional, and business teams.

The ability to quickly assimilate, distil and act upon complex information is required, combined with the ability to rapidly articulate & communicate status and issues. Strong written & verbal communication skills are required. The candidate has the ability inform & influence, in particular colleagues from other areas and disciplines. Responsible for working independently and contributing within a dynamic and fast-paced team, with the ability to anticipate and adapt to evolving challenges.

Job Background:

The FRTB programme of work is a multi-year regulatory initiative within which this role demands strong and proven business analysis skills combined with project management capabilities. Reporting to the portfolio manager, the individual will be prominent within the organization and will need to be confident engaging business and risk leads and other senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary scope includes:

Strong understanding of the core FRTB regulations, enabling the individual to understand complex and interconnected business requirements so to play a role in the ongoing management & coordination of execution plans;

Manage the end-to-end few of FRTB IMA workstreams to a production state, including development, configuration, controls, reporting and while providing direction and challenge to the business teams;

Aptitude to understand technology architectures and work with various partners for configuring strategically aligned solutions;

Understand business impact and priority through evaluation of complex business and system processes. Ability to oversee remediation and improvements of multiple FRTB driven workstreams, such as through controls and data quality analysis;

Work closely with IT Program Managers, business analysts and developers to capture progress, build & maintain project plans, while ensuring appropriate documentation; and prepare materials for regulatory meetings

Supporting planning and coordination of day-to-day activities of running project streams covering key solutions for the FRTB IMA regulation;

Engage & build relationships with stakeholders across key regional teams, specifically Market Risk, Finance (Risk Weighted Asset Control) & Markets Technology;

Distil complex information and present in concise terms to inform decision making and to enable direction & issue resolution;

Develop & curate detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans. Assess and report upon RAIDS and status; JIRA management

Proficient at working under Agile approaches and input into a strong and effective framework structure to monitor and track remediation items;

Influence, Integrate and gel with a multi-disciplined, global team; Working across different asset class teams to collaborate with diverse group;

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy;

Applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Knowledge/Experience:

7+ years of Total experience;

Experience in Analysis & Project Management within large scale, multi-year programmes; Proven analytical capabilities;

Knowledge and experience of FRTB regulations and implementation requirements

Collaborates with & influences others through comprehensive communication and proven diplomacy skills;

Provides expertise in area and a strong level of understanding of the principles of IT project management and delivery; Understanding of the SDLC, Familiarity with Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodology

Education:

Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

Strong analytical & project management skills.

Certified Project Management skills an advantage
