Summary

As a member of CellCarta\'s IT team the Project Manager/Business Analyst is responsible for identifying and documenting processes within the company. Once these areas are recognized the Business Analyst is responsible for documenting the requirements as well as documenting potential changes to these processes. The BA is responsible for supplying and communicating requirements and assist in developing technical specification and validation plans.

Key Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of the Business Analyst are Requirements Gathering and Business Process Analysis. As the person responsible for these items, they must also coordinate and facilitate on how requirements and processes align with the SDLC of each of their respective

projects.

Specific responsibilities include:

Project Management

  • Play key role in planning, executing, monitoring and closing out projects.
  • Resolve project derailments and communicate with team and other stakeholders.
  • Present status reports to senior management.
Requirements gathering
  • Document & manage requirements, or user stories, for current and new processes.
  • Participate in application design sessions to collect business requirements.
  • Organize requirements into related categories to effectively manage and communicate them.
  • Identify and develop use cases based on client requirements.
  • Determine a project\xe2\x80\x99s requirements by extracting them from business or government policies, as well as from current and future users, through interaction and research.
  • Demonstrate functional and non-functional requirements through analysis, test, demonstration, and inspection.
  • Constrain requirements when necessary and focus on core business needs, rather than users\xe2\x80\x99 personal preferences, functions related to trends or outdated processes, or other non-essential modifications.
Business Process Analysis
  • Analyze business processes / systems, identify inefficiencies, and required controls, document procedures, and process improvements.
  • Use powerful analysis and modeling tools to match strategic business objectives with practical technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal users to elicit business concerns and develop workable solutions.
  • Participate in planning initiatives, feasibility studies, cost / benefit analysis, and new systems design.
  • Identify alternate methods or approaches to expediting current processes without compromising quality of study supplies or processes
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s level or higher in science or IT) with at least 2-3 years of experience in similar roles with a proven track record of delivering (technical) analysis in a global environment.
  • Proven experience with multiple technologies including on-premise and cloud services & environments.
  • Proven experience in working with internal teams and external vendors in different sourcing models.
  • A wide degree of creativity and initiative is expected. This includes helping the team operationally where needed by demonstrating a real desire and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
  • Well organized, results orientated team player capable of working under a minimum of supervision.
  • Having an entrepreneurial mindset is key
  • Understand the needs and requirements from internal departments and translate them to applications
