Introduction

Bell is currently seeking a candidate for the position of Information Security, Project Manager. Reporting to the Information Security Program Manager, the candidate is responsible for coordinating the Information Security (IS) program initiatives and projects by conducting process improvements, reporting on metrics and KPIs, and collaboration across various IS teams. The successful candidate will help define and oversee the overall Information Security testing and response program.

We are seeking a result-oriented candidate with business acumen and who possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills. The work is dynamic and requires the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidates will have a can-do personality who thinks outside of the box, is driven by change and who is able to work with a wide scope of work that is ever changing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish program roadmap and track progress against milestones
  • Coordinate between teams and help breakdown silos; find efficiencies between groups
  • Influence, lead project teams and assist the organization on delivering strategic priorities
  • Work with a wide variety of individuals with unique personalities and styles
  • Analyze trends, synthesize and translate results into actionable items
  • Manage competing priorities and deliver results
  • Motivate employees and help to create an environment that fosters positive relationships, builds trust through mutual respect, and encourages employees to executives
  • Develop weekly, monthly status reports as required
  • Troubleshoot nuanced problems
In addition, preference will be given to candidates who possess any of the following certifications:
  • Recognized Project Management, Business Analyst certification
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile principles and methodologies
Critical Qualifications
  • A mix of relevant and acceptable academic background, experience in Project Management and/or Business Analyst with Information Security knowledge
  • Understanding of Agile principles with knowledge of various work methodologies
  • Proven ability to manage successful business relationships with stakeholders in various departments and at different levels of management
  • Excellent communication skills both oral & written with the ability to generate documentation
  • Strong PC & Internet skills including working at the intermediate level in MS Office programs
  • Proven leadership skills, strong planning & organization skills and comfortable with navigating through ambiguity, uncertainty and constant changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sense of team spirit
  • Strong problem solving skills, must have the ability to reason logically, looking at issues from multiple perspectives at a micro and macro level

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
