Job Description

In search of a creative, energetic, detail oriented, organized professional who wants to work on some of the most exclusive and exciting projects in the city.

Banner Carpets Ltd is a well-established, fully integrated distributor of quality floor coverings. We specialize in high quality, unique lines of residential and commercial carpets, area rugs, and hardwood flooring imported from around the world, through our "To the Trade", Designer Showroom. With sustainability in mind, we specialize in wool carpet and green floor covering options. We are family owned and operated and well respected throughout the flooring and Design community for providing quality flooring products since 1944.

Regular business hours are Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Position Responsibilities:



-Maintain showroom in a presentable manner

-Coordinate deliveries

-Receiving, labeling and distributing incoming packages

-Provide Professional, Outstanding Customer Service to Interior Designers, Architects, Specification writers, Building Contractors, Dealers and their clients.

-Provide inside assistance to sales staff including ordering samples and stock checks

-Light administrative duties

-Communicate with our worldwide supplier partners

Qualifications and Skills:



-Experience in a high-end or luxury environment is beneficial. Customer service is of the highest importance here.

-Confident with computer skills including use of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel with the ability to learn new software.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Competent in using one's initiative.

- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Must be fluent in English.

-Must demonstrate the highest level of integrity and professional conduct. We place a high value on giving excellent customer service for both our clients and our manufacturers.

This position has the potential to grow into a full time inside/outside sales position. On top of performing the above outlined responsibilities the successful applicant will receive training and product knowledge to better assist customers.
